British Soldier Beheaded on London Street

A man was hacked to death in a street near an army barracks in London on Wednesday in what Prime Minister David Cameron said appeared to be a politically motivated attack. The victim was a British soldier killed in broad daylight by unidentified assailants who tried to behead him while shouting "God is greatest" in Arabic, media reports said.

London Terror Attack: Soldier Butchered with Machete

LONDON — Prime Minister David Cameron said Britain would be “absolutely resolute” in the face of extremism Thursday, as he vowed security services will not rest until they track down those responsible for the brutal hacking death of a British soldier in London.

Cameron condemned the “sickening attack” and said it had nothing to do with Islam, despite claims made by the two suspected attackers.

The thoughts of the country are with the victim and his family, he said.

Cameron spoke following a crisis meeting of senior officials, as security was increased at army bases around London amid fears that additional attacks could be possible.

Video of suspect after attack. Hands bloody as he rambles on about the reason he did this. He appears to be British but has Muslim ties. He's sorry a woman had to witness this but the woman of his country see this daily! Sick, twisted minds of extremists..

Thankfully, both suspects were shot and taken into custody. Both in the hospital..

What an evil, atrocious, heinous act upon a soldier.
