Watching with interest. I have never understood the mentality of looting and burning your own neighborhood. Makes no sense to me. Also, have been wondering about how all these attorneys hop from state to state to represent people. Florida has no reciprocity agreement with any other state and Missouri will only offer reciprocity with other states that have reciprocity agreements with Missouri. So how is Crump practicing in Florida and now in Missouri? Inquiring minds want to know......ok, ok, so I have no life if this is what I wonder about.  

I have no llife either CB  I have been watching this for a while I have no problems with protesting but looting and destroying property is crime... I also don't know the whole story but of course Michael was a thug before the video came out. And LE had the right to shoot. Too many stories and the looting is taking away from the real crime

I am with holding judgement on the shooter and the shootee. I tend to lean towards the shooting being completely wrong, but as you say, so many stories...hard to make a call. I have been yelled at before for not immediately siding the the shootee, but I need to hear all the facts first and this is so convoluted I am having a hard time deciding where I stand on this one.

Yes, we need to hear the story from both sides. I would like to hear what the officer has to say. I would also like to see the original autopsy side by side with the one Baden did and the one the justice dept will be doing. I think that will be very telling.

Good Morning, It's been simmering for years. No one trusts anyone. If you look at TV what do you see most of the criminals are black or hispanic. So all anyone ever sees is that the blacks are born thugs. Police are a gang unto themselves and yes they do profile the blacks as thugs. When my boys were young, my youngest and I went to the store. He saw some friends and stayed outside to talk with them. The LE stopped and disbursed this thug gathering. But a group of white kids close by could still congregate. BTW my sons are mixed. This has been my experience.

Good morning to you too! I am coming from the other side of the coin. My husband has been LE for over 30 years, now retired. He has come into contact with, arrested, and fought with 1000's of people of all races in his career and has never shot anyone. He is honest and fair. Having said that, I realize that there are rogue officers with their own agenda that give all of LE a bad name. But.....there are also thugs, of every race and color. I am not yet ready to make a determination on the fairness or necessity of the officers actions pending more information. But I do have to say, not every shooting is unjustified.

I agree that there is good and bad in every group. I am just waiting for both sides to come out. There feels as if an important part of the story has not been told. One thing I am iffy on is people are speculating MB was going for the officers gun. If it was on his right side I don't see it happening. Off to my knitting group.
