How can...
How can someone be charged with multiple murder 1 or any degree counts in the same murder? I have always wondered this. Wouldn't it be double jeopardy if they were charged and then charged again? (I know double jeopardy means you can't be tried for the same crime twice... but does that ONLY apply to someone who is convicted? If so, does a state convict that person simultaneously; so that they can charge multiple times?) TIA for anyone with insight into this.

Hi Angie. I want to help you with this question, but I am not clear on your question - can you give me a scenario or case that you are looking at? TIA

George Zimmerman is a murderer, child molester and woman abuser who is breathing air that doesn't belong to him - I await Karma to inflict justice in the name of Trayvon.
