According to legal analyst Jeffrey Evan Gold, prosecutor Juan Martinez is also asking that another witness be alowed to testify -- Jill Hayes, Ph.D., of New Orleans. Hayes is an expert in psychological and neuropsychological functioning.

At the rate the trial can go on and on for a few more months. IMO the judge really needs to get a handle on this trial.

I think this is going to get interesting, Snow.

IIRC at the close of the last court day, the judge ruled that today would go on as long as necessary to finish the witnesses. Tomorrow and Friday are for closing statements.

So we could be in for a very looong day, once this show gets on the road.

I have no idea what they will do if you know who develops a migraine. I hope they put extra food in her lunch.

Seriously, maybe the judge will have to allow another day or so - but I do believe that we are very near to the jury beginning deliberations.

Now, I wonder how long that will take? (And then we may go into a penalty phase.)

Well we all know it will not get completed by design to the D's desires in order to give it the rush job appearance for future use.
I hear they are going to have a sword swallower push a sword through his nostril and out an eye just to prove Horn is in bed with JM.

Nan it will be more bearable the penalty phase because at least the guilty of first degree murder will come in from the jury. Then I would not have to worry about her getting out and doing this again.

Yep, that is a good point. Much of my stress will be relieved once (and if) it gets to that point.

I get a feeling that the judge's patience is wearing a little thin, though.

My understanding is that the bullet entered Travis skull just above the center of his right eyebrow, and proceeded through his sinuses down to lodge in is lower jaw bone.

I am a gun firster. The complete story makes so much more sense. I don't think the bullet injured his brain to the extent the State's Horn is now speculating.

Today will be a long day. They will go until testimony is done. I'm going to take a shower and get dressed so I don't miss a beat. It should be very interesting today..I heard Juan wants another rebuttal chance after this witness is called.

My Opinion Only:
Judge Stephen's need's to stop the nonsense going on in her court room.
Can't any of these people realize that the jury is over it all. 10 to 1 opening statement's wont begin tomorrow.
Reasons:
1. Never ever on time to start from morning, break's, and 1 1/2 hours from lunch.
2. Sidebar's are out of control, to many and to long. This is not some tea party.
3. Letting the witness's rattle on and on until the jury has blood running out of their ear's.

Sur sur rebuttal..man is this the never ending trial. Judge said this will go until the testimony is done, so expect a very long day.

Judge Stephens should take control over her courtroom and the attorney's. They ended their case and now this? No wonder this friggin trial didn't end on 4/11/13 as it was supposed to. She allows too much BS...either way, it won't help Jodi. She is done..

LLL, not sure but if he did this gal should knock jodi's ass out of the courtroom, I hear that the witnesses will not go on and on and on, short and to the point. Dr. Geffner must be in need of some mental help if thinks Jodi has PTSD. Court is gonna start soon at 9am but we all know how that goes. OK just heard Beth say Juan's witness will be on today. I love Californria, miss the ocean and home. I wish I had the money to re-bury my daughter out there in a cool green cemetary. Lived in Ventura County, and had lots of friends, out here none, was to busy helping my girl get well, never bothered after she had to leave us. This is my real coming out party since 2010, so glad to be here.
