Prosecuting Casey Anthony movie

The movie Prosecuting Casey Anthony based on Jeff Ashton's book will air tonight on the Lifetime channel at 8pm EST for anyone who's interested.

Hi Guys, I am hear watching. Just getting over the flu but I am watching. I am DVRing it also just in case I don't make it.

So far I think you would have to know what went on or it may be a little hard to follow.

I did not know JB told JA before the trial that Caylee drowned and they were going to blame it on George.

I like Rob Lowe as Jeff.

The movie was so so. The verdict was hard to hear again.

The documentary after the movie seems to be better than the movie. They start off with "foolproof suffocation" that was found by the two members at websluthes.

Is on right now....not sure if it is new, or the one that was showed before.Will be on again at 1:00am EST.

The movie sucked! I didn't feel like it had the facts right but I could be wrong.

I agree, the movie sucked. Not enough detail about Casey Anthony. Should have given complete details of what Casey lied about all through those 31 plus days. It sought of swayed in the direction of George Anthony. Casey must be feeling like the very best liar on earth right about now.

I'm sure this movie gave Tot Mom the go ahead to keep up her lies and what ever else she is doing out there. It had to totally reassure her of what a professional liar can do and get away with it. Especially when you have 12 village idiots as juror's.

Very dissappointed with this movie.

I REALLY hope that any money made off this movie doesn't go to the scamthonys....

Did anyone watch the program after the movie called: behind the headlines? it touched on the search for full proof suffocation except they spelled it right whereas KC did not.... maybe they spelled it correctly for the 12 village idiots.

I have nothing nice to say about this horribly boring bad movie so I will keep my thoughts to myself.

Geez, I DVR'd it....now I am wondering if I want to waste my time watching it.....

Okie...I wasted my time watching the movie....it was very disjointed, very brief, jumped from one thing to another etc.
It did please me that it was not about Casey, but I was disappointed that it was also not about Caylee. I remind myself it was just a movie. Something for the people of Pinellas County (apparently) to watch and think they knew everything there was to know. The juror that spoke.....what a fool. I think she just didn't like Jeff.
The last minutes of the movie, Jeff watching Casey on his computer.....He looked haunted and she looked satisfied. That was the best part of the whole movie. I wonder if Jeff really felt/did that?

The appeal judges came back with a decision today. They dropped 2 of the 4 lying convictions against CA. Now Cheney Mason says he is going to the Supreme Court to get the other 2 dropped. IS is talking about it now. ZFG lawyers are actually happy about it because it gets them closer to the civil trial. No one on IS seems to think the Supreme Court will reverse the remaining 2. They say it will take another 3-6 months before the civil trial starts.

Yep I caught that too CB.... Welp I guess she can kill and be acquitted and lie and get away with it.... *sigh*

I am sick, discussed the girl got away with so much, how sad.

Casey Anthony, the young Florida mother acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, filed for bankruptcy protection late Friday night in Florida.

This move brings all of Anthony's civil cases currently under way in Florida state court to a complete halt.

"This is the next step towards closure for me," said Anthony in a phone conversation Friday evening.
Anthony is listed as a defendant in three civil suits in Orange County, FL. The most notable of those being the suit brought by a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez. Gonzalez claims Anthony defamed her when Anthony told Orange County Sheriff's Deputies in July 2008 that a fictitious nanny named "Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez" kidnapped her daughter Caylee.

The Gonzalez lawsuit, brought on behalf of the Orlando-based Morgan and Morgan law firm seeks unspecified damages.

"She needs closure in this matter in order to move on with her life," said Anthony's civil attorney, Charles Greene.

In a brief conversation with Anthony on Friday night, she told CBS 5 she was hopeful the Gonzalez case would have been behind her at this point.

The case was originally scheduled to go to trial earlier this month, but attorneys for Gonzalez were granted a continuance by the judge. No new trial date has been set.

"These are the things holding me back," said Anthony. "This is the key for me to move forward."

Shortly before the phone conversation with Anthony, Greene was adamant that Anthony would not discuss any of the details surrounding her open legal cases.

The bankruptcy was filed in the Middle District of Florida because Anthony has lived somewhere in central Florida for 180 days. Her parents' address is listed as her home address, though Greene says that she is not living with them. He says that address was listed because it was her most recent permanent address.

CBS 5 broke the story in September that Anthony had moved out of Florida, but Greene says she left only for a short time and then returned because of logistic and financial reasons.
