I don't think they can get off the case now, they will probably have to wait until this segment is over. They were paid big dollars to represent her, I don't think they can back out now. However, later, for any appeals, they don't have to do it. I think anyway

A source close to Arias tells PEOPLE that, after reflecting on what she said, Arias would prefer a life sentence over execution.

I have heard a bit on this trial but haven't followed it much till the last couple of days. So not trying to butt in here and hope what I am posting is not new and is helpful.
Was listening to HNL and heard about the long long time Travis's family has had to endure this litigation, 5 YEARS!, egad. The family not being residents of Arizona, being out of work to be available for the court proceedings, anyhow, finacial woes spoken about by a family friend. The friend spoke of a donation fund if anyone is interested in lending a hand,;

I was unsure about the death penalty. Not that I am against the DPen, just sometimes I think offenders need to sit in a jail for years and suffer. I just heard the family wants the DPen so I am for it now, for them.

I've truly tried to listen to him throughout, but my eyes just start to glaze over after a few minutes.
