Everyone keeps bringing up the fact that she left behind the camera which was evidence.

My thought on that is Jodi is a photographer, Travis bought an expensive camera (probably more expensive that any camera Jodi owns). I believe Jodi thought if the camera would have come up missing that the first suspect would have went right to Jodi. So she wasn't going to take any chances, so instead of taking the camera and disposing of it she deleted the photo's and then threw it in the washing machine instead.

Jodi was trying very hard to cover her tracks, all that was left at the scene was a palm print (partial one) which she probably didn't realize that she did. But removing of the camera was something that Jodi probably thought would be too suspect seeing as she is a photographer. JMO

I heard that also. But I always thought that because it was never proven that Jodi took it (just like the slashed tires) that it couldn't be brought up. I'm surprised that it wasn't objected to but glad it got in.

Okay, she most likely did this because she was displaced in her seating. If she had done this at the defense counsel table, I would be more concerned. But that she has it outside her sock, not hidden from view, tells me she wasn't trying to secret it out of the courtroom. When she is taken from the courtroom, she is made to undress out of civilian close in front of a sheriff's deputy (female) and its searched and then allowed to redress in prison garb. If they found a pencil on her when making that change, she would be infracted. It would not be something the public would be made aware of necessarily because it would be an internal DOC charge that she would be given the right for a DOC hearing before imposition of penalties such as taking away certain privileges, being put into segregation, etc.

HLN is watching the court room as there is supposed to be a hearing in just about an hour. However, they don't know if it will be in chambers or the court room.

Did you just hear on HLN....on the plane ride home from Travis's memorial service, Jodi met some guy on the plane and took his number to call him when she got home! That was new info to me.

So Mike Galanos just said.....What is this we hear? Jodi was in Travis's house hiding behind a Christmas tree?

Yes, yesterday was the first time I had heard about the guy/airplane. Guess she needed a guy with a little cash at that point, lol.

Yup, she snuck into his house and layed under the Christmas tree to go to sleep.

All Nurmi is doing is securing that pay check for a little longer. Martinez hit hit it on the head when he said that in court. I wish there was something that could be done about that. It is tax payers money.

Wilmott was no challenge to Demarte's smarts. It was almost laughable. She made a total ass of herself. I'm sure Nurmi told her to cut it short before she ruined the entire case (not that they had one to begin with).

This is a video that I hadn't seen before. Forty Eight Hours did it after the prosecution had rested. It contains clips from Samatha and Stephen, and even a very short one from Deanna.

BBM - All I've come across regarding the hearing yesterday was that it was a 'status hearing' of sorts, and the good news could be that such a hearing held at this time during a trial often signifies that the end is near.

I know you all don't like Nancy Grace, but this video is a little bit interesting. Nancy does a phone interview with the famous Dr. Lenore Walker. At about the 3:17 minute mark, Dr. Walker confirms that she still uses the same 'battered women criteria' that she has used since she published it.

One thing I noticed that I hadn't in the past, was that Travis called the guy who had held the gun to his head and stole his cell phone. He had the courage to do that. He told the guy he wanted his phone back.

It just shows me that Travis was the kind of guy that would give second chances to people. I believe this is also a religious teaching--another reason he tried to always forgive and start afresh. (imo)

Wish I had an answer for your question.

Maybe this is a little naive but I was wondering if someone was smuggling her in pictures of things that she could draw. I noticed one of her drawings that sold was of Grace Kelly; and I heard that she sold another one of Frank Sinatra for a very decent price.

I'm not positive, but I think she would need pictures to look at to draw people.
