I also loved it when Dr. D said that 44 hours was excessive, way out there and that 9 hours should have been enough. I hope the ones that have to pay LaV were listening. It's obvious that the defense is bilking the state for all it can.

An "issue" has come up, so court is in recess until 9:30 tomorrow morning (12:30 Eastern).

PHOENIX - Shaun Alexander was Travis Alexander's best friend. They just happen to have the same last name and were both with girls named Jodi.

"He said, 'Hey man, if I end up marrying her, our wives will have the same last name.' I said, they may have the same name, but they won't have the same character. Turns out, that was the last thing I ever said to him," recalls Shaun.

Somehow I bet he regrets wording it like that. I doubt he wants Travis perceived as a dimwit and this comment does give that impression. His one chance at being quoted and this is what comes out in the news...

lol, I saw this on Nancy Grace last night.

Later, though, Nancy said that she wasn't sure any longer if the Lady lawyer said "bitch".

Her guest said, however, that as long as jurors didn't hear it, it wasn't too big of a deal :)

I just listened to it again. --I don't think she said "bitch", actually, possibly. If you listen to it carefully it sounds somewhat different from "bitch".

I think she might have said something else. That is why Nancy Grace changed her mind on her saying "bitch" last night as well.

Apparently it was an engagement ring that Travis had bought for Deanna, but it went suspiciously missing once Arias entered the picture. (Deanna had given it back to Travis when they broke up.)

My 2cent's on what JW said to Dr. DeMarte. She said "you betcha". Listen again and I think you will agree.

@ Nan, as soon as I saw your post saying "engagement" it smacked me in the head I do remember haering about that ring but I don't remember where or when.

Yes. That makes more sense, "You betcha". Even if she, maybe, meant "You bitch".

Simply sarcastically said "You betcha" :)

In any case, if listen carefully, you can hear that she didn't say "bitch".
