If you haven’t had a chance to read this Plea Agreement that Wurmi sent to the State, you’ve got to read it (see below).

In light of Dick Samuels (defense expert!) being grilled by Juan Martinez
for the last 2 days this letter sent to Juan can be viewed as comical. Wurmi has rubbed me the wrong was since day 1 of the trial after reading this he’s far worse than I could have imagined. He’s the reason people despise lawyers. He’s the ultimate SLIMEBALL.

– Threatening Juan with the 10 letters that have been proven to be forgeries.

– The Case numbers referenced on pages 4-5 are jokes & are in no way comparable to JA’s slaughter of Travis.

– Pg 5) Threatening to out the relationships of friends & family & members of the church, & more

– Pg 6) Jodi doesn’t “see the possibility of the death verdict being very likely” She also wasn’t in the area during the murder, oh wait forget that . . she was there & it was a man & a woman dressed as ninjas that did this….and Travis liked little boys & it disgusted Jodi so much that she threw up several times then spent the remainder of their sexual relationship wearing little boys spider man underwear & taking it the poop-shoot…..! And let’s not forget how she tried to entrap Travis by secretly recording a sexual phone call….or that she forged 10 letters from Travis stating he abused her & had pedophile tendencies…..or lied to the police & everyone else for 2 years (nix that one, she’s never stopped lying). And the topper: “A jury will never convict her because she’s innocent”

– Pg 7) Ms. Arias want’s a more favorable verdict??!! She’s now thinking of his family??!! She’s not shown one iota of remorse for them since this trial began. Yes she’s faked a few tears but always for herself & her own predicament – her own embarrassment. She’s shown zero remorse. I’m sure Travis’ family can endure any length this trial will go on for. Just tell her that if it goes on too long & things get too rough for the family she can always send them flowers

– Pg 7) How generous of her … “she’s willing to resolve this case in the manner she described above” BUT still has NO regrets for killing Mr. Alexander — only for the lies she told the media – why, because she believes that people will look at her negatively & as a liar . . . something she’s finally right about.

Testimony in the State v JodiArias will not begin until 1:00 pm (PT) tomorrow due to a defense expert conflict. (Which I believe is 4pm EST)

Thanks Angie for posting these videos. I can't watch it for long periods on my laptop and HLN has too many commericals and commentary.

I have watched that clip several times trying to figure out what the hell she is doing. Does she not know that the camera is on her most of the time???? Whatta

CB, I can't figure it out either, it makes no sense. Maybe it's me, but I've seen a change in her recently, she doesn't have that same smirk and cockiness. I wonder if she could be having some mental breakdown knowing the end is near.

I dunno AB, I think she is still cocky and confident that "no jury will ever convict her" I also think she takes advantage of every opportunity presented to her to get what she wants, and if she gets caught, it is not her fault and someone else has to pay. She is a mess.

ETA: I also thinks she can play the role of whoever/whatever she needs to be at that particular time. Watch her during testimony, very serious. Then during sidebars or breaks she is giggling with the mitigation specialist, then back to serious, poor little abused Jodi, all in the blink of an eye.

Although if this is true it is against the rules of the court.

Who is the MIT specialist? Why would this person pass things between Jodi and the girlfriend? Aren't they in the same jail? And if the specialist is passing these notes wouldn't that be illegal? And what would the consequences be?

Sorry CB and Angie for coming back with all those questions. This trial just seems to get more bizarre by the minute and I can't keep up with everything.

I can't imagine that anyone would risk their job or credibility to pass a few notes to someone who will be but a blip on their radar in 6 months.

I totally agree, Clarice! They've really gone downhill. I was hoping for so much better with In Sessions virtually going away, as they had a real opportunity to do some quality programming. Last night's After Dark was totally bogus and a waste (huge waste!) of time. Thanks for voicing what a lot of us feel.

I mentioned in Chat this morning that I had seen a timeline that indicated that Travis' email to Jodi telling her to get lost and calling her a sociopath occurred two days before the gun was stolen. It took me a while, but I found the site again:

Maybe she was taking something to read on lunch break. She couldn't take anything back to the cell, it wouldn't be allowed. I would think she has to be searched each time. Maybe it was something that her lawyer passed to her. Baez used to pass things to Casey until he was caught and repremanded. It being done this time and the way Jodi did it, wouldn't involve the lawyer if she was caught.

Could be a message from her friend in the court room.

I don't believe the goodness in Travis could ever accept that another person was truely evil--through and through. I think he kept looking for the 'good' in her; giving her chance after chance to prove that she wasn't what he thought she was. Hoping he was wrong.

He wasn't, and he paid a price he never dreamed she would extract.

Just so you don't feel lonely, I've been looking for her name, too. I even waded through Websleuths, but had no luck.

And also the following quote from RC; so it looks like she has only been on the case since December, 2011. It appears they have bonded quite well, however.

On 12/22/2011 a hearing was held on a motion from the Public Defender Office to withdraw from this case due to a conflict of interest with Victoria Washington. Motion was allowed but the Public Defender Office will appoint a new second counsel, investigator, mitigation specialist, and paralegal. Victoria Washington is released as counsel.
