My take on the "holster" bit, is that Jodi slipped up. The gun may very well have been in a holster, but probably at her grandfathers house when she stole it. She may very well have gotten her places mixed up as to where she saw the holster. I wish Martinez would have pressed a little harder regarding the holster. I wonder if the grandfather would ever admit to it if that be the case? Or if it was in the police report somewhere?

I loved it when Martinez said "what were to going to do with an unloaded gun, throw it at Travis"? And she is still sticking to that stupid story that a gun pointed at someone would stop them in their tracks. Hellooooo, Jodi, not if the owner of that gun knows its not loaded.

She may have created an answer for all the questions, but they were stupid answers.

And her stupid reasoning that she managed to get away from Travis after she shot him (and obviously got the knife according to her). She could have walked out the house and he wouldn't have been able to catch her.

I believe reality is finally setting in with Jodi, that she isn't as smart as she thought she was and may very well be facing the DS.

trial starts at 1:00 or 1:30 EST? HLN is saying 1:00.

For all you who think you may have missed something in court today....you are in luck. No testimony has happened. It will start at 4:15 EST, 1:15 AZ time.
Apparently the defense turned over a power point to Juan this morning that their expert is going to use. Juan argued that is was late, and he knew nothing about it. After a bunch of arguing, the judge took a break and will let Juan talk to the expert and she will decide on Juans objections. So there you have it. See ya all at 4:15 EST in chat!

Thanks for that update. I was wondering what was going on. This hasn't been a very productive week. Are they going to go at it tomorrow? Seems like they've taken a lot of Fridays off. I hope they make an exception this week given all the other off days but with gov't we know how these things go...

Hi Sea.....They usually don't have court on Friday. Guess they could make an exception for tomorrow, if no juror has a conflict. But I would assume that if the jurors thought they would have every Friday off, there may be some conflicts.

lol....HLN is showing testimony about Jodi's fog.....and the picture they are showing has a "fog" over her.....priceless!

If they postpone court until Monday at least Martinez will have a little time to prepare cross.

It kills me to see what people will do for the right price, they sell their soul and get the advertisement on the media to get them more business from unscrupless attornies.

These so called experts are fullof it.

I don't think that they have court on Friday's, for what ever reason, I don't know. I truly doubt they will make an exception.

This is very frustrating, however, it will give Martinez a chance to get his facts together for cross.

I'd hate to see this murderer walk because of some lies that some "expert" will testify to.

HA....a viewer wrote in to HLN and said that Jodi's PTSD is a "Pitiful Tale of Self Defense"....
