I am anti- death penalty. I just do not believe ANYONE should play God. MOO
Someone I was extremely close to was murdered and having their murderer murdered by the state wouldn't have brought my loved one back so I just don't see the point of it. I guess for extreme cases I would consider it but I don't know. LWOP cost less than the death penalty anyway.

oh and P.S. ONE, I didn't know someones ears burned if they were being talked bad about lmao! I just thought it was talking about someone in general. Boy I've got a lot to learn!

Jodi Arias could become the fourth female on Arizona's death row if she is convicted in the June 2008 killing of Travis Alexander.

A very short article, but I snipped this part to show AZ will put a woman on death row.

If anyone is interested, Goggle Wendy Andriano. The daughter of a co worker of mine in AZ. She is on death row.

I was just reading over at JQ and they said that IS takes 2 weeks off every year at this time. So that is why they won't be airing the trial tomorrow. But the people at JQ sem to feel all the AZ stations, AZFamily, KPHO, ABC15, will be airing the trial. If any of you read at JQ, Sunny will have a thread dedicated to the trial and will be posting live during the trial.

Thanks CB for the posts... I didn't know that Wendy Andriano was the daughter of a co worker of yours. Just out of curiosity were you close to this co worker and if so how did her family deal with having a family member being sentenced to death? TIA

I saw her mom several days a week at work. We were work friends. The whole family was devastated at the verdict and sentence. They placed all their hopes on appeals and the length of time that it takes to put someone to death. Mom says she hopes that if they ever put Wendy to death that she (mom) is long dead before they do it. Joe's (victim) family is a very well known family in our town. They never talked much about it. In fact, neither of the families had much to say to the press.
I have seen her story on TV a few times....not sure if it was Women Who Kill, 48 Hours or whichever show it was. Very interesting show.

Instead, Arias manifests an almost smug persona, including a little smile, and she expresses no pity for Alexander, whatsoever. Instead, she seems aloof and self-absorbed.
