Tuesday morning, Jane Bashara’s mother, Lorraine Englebrecht went to the Bashara home and found the locks had been changed and she could no longer get in. According to Englebrecht, Bob Bashara’s cousin Stephanie Samuel-Lucas has taken over control of the house.

"She won’t let us in and the police can’t do anything about it," said Englebrecht.

Sameul-Lucas has power of attorney, and according to Jane Bashara’s mother has begun moving everything out of the house. "Those things belong to the children. I’m not going to let her take everything that Jane worked so hard for."

---i feel very badly for jane's mom having to deal w/ her and now get her lawyer involved just to be able to retrieve jane's things.

I am playing catch up with this case - what ever happened to the girlfriend who was into the SS&M with Bashara? Has she gone into hiding? And the guy who says he was hired by Bashara to dump the car with Jane's body in it. Is he still in jail too. Sorry to be so out of it on this case.... I became consumed by GZ. LOL

-rachel filed a restraining order against him , and has since left the state.

--joe gentz confessed, was charged w/ murder, has been found competent to stand trial. he's in court again for his preliminary hearing on august 13th.

--correct. that's what his prelim hearing was about the other day-----and the judge found probable cause to have bob stand trial (for his unbelievable stupidity!!!)

Yeah CN, that is the current charge for Bob right now. He has never been charged (yet) in Janes death.

CB the recorded tapes were extremely hard to hear or understand. there was a lot of background noise in them. The Pros put up a transcript so that the courtroom could see them but Greim objected and the judge made the Pros take them down. I wish we could get a copy of those transcripts.

--bob was charged with----nothing.

--the hitman (joe gentz) was charged w/ conspiracy to commit murder 1 (the "co-conspirator was not named---we all know it was bob.)

--joe flat out admitted to killing jane.

--but said that bob made him do it/and paid him w/ a used caddy and some cash.

--here's where bob gets really stupid.

--(IF) he gets charged w/ jane's murder , (hitman #1) joe gentz will be testifying against him.

--(which is why bob wanted hitman #2 to take (hitman #1) joe out.)

--but----his BEST shot was for a jury to NOT believe joe gentz! (ALIVE! joe gentz) the guy that details stomping on her neck to make sure she was dead---that guy....the one and only person (that even yep, he killed his wife-----was the ONE person that bob's defense attorney could have used AGAINST bob .)

--but, bob was so freaking paranoid---he didn't want him to be able to testify --(when he hadn't even been charged yet)--so wanted joe taken out.

--now there sits bob, charged w/ conspiracy to commit murder 1 on joe (life in prison) -----b/c he was trying to get away w/ conspiracy to commit murder 1 (joe killing jane---a charge that in michigan the co-conspirator also does the same time on---life in prison.)

--bob is such an idiot. they have him on tape/(he asks for a hitman receipt!)---i have no clue how he WON'T be found guilty of this crime...(and get life)....then, he'll be charged w/ conspiracy to kill jane too.(and get life again.)

--all b/c he got ahead of himself (to perhaps being charged w/ jane's murder) -if he had left well enough alone...

Bob Bashara back in court Tuesday for solicitation of murder charge

Bob Bashara is expected to plead not guilty to a solicitation of murder charge when he goes in front of a Wayne County judge on Tuesday.
