An interesting read about Ms. Lav

So she doesn't really need that much coaching on the stand as she is one of the coaches in this case and more than likely assisted in matching her own testimony with that of JA' testimony. That is my take on her role in the trial. Before reading this I was unaware of just how involved she really is for the defense and it's case as a whole.

I speculated this in the past but thought that it was where Jodi got the idea from. This is a clip from the movie Charlie's Angels and IIRC Juan said Travis liked Cameron Diaz (notice what Cameron is wearing)

I think Martinez doesn't want to discount everything Jodi says in the jury's eyes. So rather than say that she lied completely about the spidermans underwear, he put it with Charlies Angels. Which probably made more sense to do it that way rather than argue 2 ways against what Jodi claimed about Travis liking little boys.
But we never saw these underwear, Jodi claims to have discarded them and never even took a picture with them. Which to me, indicates that she got the idea while in jail and couldn't. I personally believe that it never happened.
Getting to the shooting first and then the stabbing, I just heard a defense attorney on "HLN after dark" say that when Jodi saw that Travis didn't die from the bullet wound she ran for the knife. That doesn't make an ounce of sense, she would have just kept shooting. I think Jodi said that she either dropped the gun or that Travis got it from her. That doesn't make sense either. If Travis would have gotten the gun, I'm sure Jodi would have been shot (and that would have been self defense) and if she dropped the gun, it would have been easier to pick up the gun rather than waisting time looking for a knife.
I think Martinez succeeded in tearing down The Shrinking Violet's claim of battered woman. She was just 100% defense and wasn't going to budge. I think she destroyed her credibility as far as being an advocate for abused women, she is a disgrace for real abused women (she sold herself).

I just heard on Dr Drew that A LaV is not the last witness for the defense...
Are you guy's even ready for another 500 day's of a boring witness who refuses to budge on their opinion of JA in the face of proof?
I don't know if I can handle it.
PS: They don't know who it is though. I bet we'll hear tomorrow who and what they "specialize" in.
Can't keep secret's in this day and age if folk's want to know they are savey enough to find the answer.
I think thats why the judge added on some fridays and brought this trial to go on til May. This is really rediculous, I don't remember any trial lasting this long (there may have been, but I truly don't remember one).

Re: Jodi Arias #3
Okay I couldn't remember how long the KC trial was compared to this one so I googled it.
RE: Casey Anthony
Snipped:
The trial lasted six weeks, from May to July 2011.

Re: Jodi Arias
Trial started Jan 2nd, to present day.
I swear the Casey Anthony case seemed long (looking back) but only 6 weeks compared to this trial (in it's 15th week) But only 44 days of those weeks have we even had trial, that's pretty sad.

Did anyone see the guy who walked into court the other day,IIRC he looked like he handed something to the lady who swears people in? Maybe this is their next witness? Anyone else see/remember this???

Thanks, I totally forgot about the OJ trial. I was away most of that year in training, so I would just get the updates on the news at night.

Opening statements January 24, 1995

So opening to verdict 10 month's.
What a waste of time and energy. Jury found him not guilty anyhow :(
But at least the tax payers didn't pick up the tab. With Jodi, the tax payers are paying for everything. It makes me sick to think of everything that this money could be being used for instead it's to defend this obvious killer and maybe even succeed in getting her a lower sentence. This woman should never walk in society again, there is no doubt in my mind that she would do it again if the occasion arose for her. LaV is totally selling her self and supposedly all she has worked for, being an advocate for abused women. Money sure talks and changes peoples view.

I have a suspiscion that it is not another expert witness but someone that was probably bought by the defense to talk against Travis and say that Travis was violent. Just like Jodi was sending notes to that guy (forgot his name) and also trying to get him to write letters to Jodi pretending to be Travis. I think it's going to be something to that effect. If it is, I hope that Martinez picks away at him/her too.

Has there been any court proceedings today? I really don't care until the jury questions start.
The defense can have the point that Jodi's not a stalker if they'll cede the point that Travis was not an abuser. I'm reasonable!
