Reading through the tweets I see any question of whether Jodi's 'fingers' were intentional has been answered LOL!!

Glad you love your 5 day weekends in jail with all those other quality individuals. Me thinks you're going to have much longer stints behind bars than 5 days in your future. You ought to cherish your chance to get out even if it is to court.

As for your criticisms of Mr Martinez and his height, he's more accomplished in his life than you'll ever be. What have you done to warrant your time here on earth? Some people aren't insecure about the size of their body parts and some people stuff them with plastic and silicon...

How can someone with this much training on personal relationships be this clueless? She's so clueless, I don't think she understands that she just lost the jury when she said that Jodi's not a liar, just a scared individual...

or when she said that she hasn't seen any evidence of Jodi abusing other boyfriends yet doesn't acknowledge that Travis' other girlfriends don't claim abuse either.

She says if Travis was stalked he wouldn't keep seeing her yet doesn't hold Jodi to that standard to explain why an abused woman would seek her abuser out.

I love these questions. This jury is onto her and her answers are just proving to the jury beyond a reasonable doubt that she's a nut

What bothers me is that they went thru all the questions in the chambers and removed some. I would like to hear what all the jurors had to say. These questions seem very selective, by the defense. This witness is 150% defense and if the jury can't see that then we are in trouble.

Jodi is sitting there trying to look sad, she knows this is her last chance to save herself. I'm sure in Jodi's head, she thinks she is going to walk away from all this and just go on with her life.

How does Jodi have access to tweeting? Isn't she in jail? Prison comes after conviction. I would think that she is on a holding cell in jail right now, but I could be wrong. I also thought that due to the high profile of this case that she wouldn't be allowed to mingle with other prisoners. But I could be totally wrong on all accounts.

I cannot stand this "so called" expert witness, I wish she would get the hell off already.

Trial started Jan 2nd, to present day.

I swear the Casey Anthony case seemed long (looking back) but only 6 weeks compared to this trial (in it's 15th week) But only 46 days of those 15 weeks have we even had trial, that's pretty sad.

ITA The questions just got better as time went on IMO. This witness was trying to get her digs in on TA (even when the question isn't particularly about him) Just to bolster her own testimony already given BUT her gig is up and the jury has her # so she needs to just stop.

Apparently, she's talking to her friend, Donovan, almost every day, and Donovan is sending the tweets on her behalf.

Now the jury is questioning her as to whether (my words) she's a man hater. And she answers with the typical answer that we've heard for years re: race; rather than oh no, I have lots of black friends she inserts male for black and rattles off all the men she respects. I must say I never heard a husband or a boyfriend mentioned. Did I miss that? She does mention a son but if she's never had a happy male love interest, I think we may have stumbled upon an interesting fact concerning her frame of reference

They have to go over the jury questions to make sure they aren't prejudicial (ya I know, eyeroll) plus there may be duplicate questions as well.

Even if she's widowed she could still speak fondly of the wonderful man in retrospect.

What I don't get is why she doesn't see that her answers are hurting Jodi more than helping. She's now proving once and for all that she's blindly supporting Jodi and she's unapologetic about it. She's reinforcing the notion that these "therapists" are often more crzy than their clients

I think she is so "blinded" by her high opinion of herself and her unwavering belief in her profession, that she can't see the forest for the trees. And she doesn't appear to get it even after being asked 25 jury questions.

Don't you all just love the jury questions about her looking over at the defense team? Like an idiot, she tries to deflect it by saying something about her elementary school friends or whatever. That's the kind of answer to expect from an elementary school student!

I think she's seriously underestimating this jury. She thinks they're idiots. Case in point: she keeps saying in response to questions about Jodi's credibility that there was tons of other evidence that supported what she was being told. Hey, the jury's heard the evidence and they know that there's no other evidence that Travis broke her finger; that Travis had a thing for little boys; that Travis ever had an abusive relationship with any other friend. She keeps saying that there's other evidence and she thinks that just because she's the "expert" that the jury won't insist on proof.

One final thought. Someday it'll come to light that Jodi lied about the gun, the broken finger and who knows what else. I wonder if Ms La Violet will feel guilty for how she "read" the situation with Jodi and all? If she has any common sense the answer will be yes but I don't think she does thus I'm guessing the answer will be no

These jury questions should be a lesson to all "experts" that will be testifying. The jury sees every little thing you do!

It annoys the crap outta me to hear her talk about "Jodi's broken finger". I wondered where she got her medical degree. There is nothing that proves the finger was broken, or that Travis did it.
So many things piss me off about her and her testimony. I can't list them all.

I totally agree, Sea Ray.

The jury questions today showed that they are paying very close attention, and are connecting the dots before Juan has even tied them all together for them. I think they are seeing the situation for what it really is, and are not buying LaViolette's story.

For what it's worth, I think Ms. LaV has been very sincere in her beliefs, and that she hasn't lied on the stand. I think she truly believes what she's been told, and doesn't see the bigger picture; that she's been manipulated just like everyone else that Jodi has manipulated. I think she was intentionally provided very limited information, and she was specifically asked to look at the relationship between Jodi and Travis for signs of domestic violence. And of course, through her DV filter, she found it, and that's all she saw. She hasn't seen or heard most of the evidence presented in court, so her view is a much smaller "bigger picture" than that of the jury's.

I do believe she has a double standard, and that she found fault with Travis using the same justifications she used to defend Jodi, and I (and apparently the jury) have a problem with that. I would hope that she would eventually question herself when Jodi is found guilty as to how she could have been so wrong, but she'd first have to recognize that she was wrong, and I sadly agree that she probably never will.

Some of you have made recent comments about HLN and how downhill it's gone. In Chat today, several of you were asking about my complaint email to them, so I thought I'd share it. Here's what I emailed to them:

I can't tell you how disappointed I am in HLN lately. Well, actually, yes, I can, and I will.

First of all, you advertise "live" coverage of the Jodi Arias trial, but it's not live, and it's interrupted by tons of commercials. I actually saw someone post that HLN provides "Commercial-to-commercial trial coverage", because that's exactly what it is. The live trial is over hours before you finish showing it.

Second, the fact that you're not going to show any future trials is extremely disappointing, especially since TruTV cut back InSessions to 2 hrs. per day. I used to automatically flip to HLN when InSessions was over, but now I can't go to either one for trial coverage. Very disappointing.

Third, your After Dark show is a joke. I'm a member of several true crime websites, and we know far more about this case than anyone on your show, with the exception of Jean C. and Beth Karas. Your recreation of Travis Alexander's house/crime scene was a total joke (shelves not tall enough or wide enough; no bench in the closet where she supposedly ran through; using someone much taller than Jodi to act as her; using a different size gun; blood stains not accurately reflected; Baez was wrong about the gun shell casing when he said it could have been kicked (the evidence CLEARLY contradicts that)), etc., etc., etc. The show is just filled with factual errors; so what's the point?

One of your jurors asked the question as to what evidence proved that the blood at the sink came from Travis coughing up blood. Not one person on the show knew the real/right answer, which was that saliva was found mixed with the blood. Also, your mock juries are worthless because you're only showing them selected pieces of evidence, and you're also showing things (like interviews) that are not actual evidence in the case, which is totally irrelevant. Very unrealistic, and an insult to those of us who have followed the case diligently. It's not worth watching when all I do is yell at the TV because you have so many "facts" wrong. It's not the least bit realistic, so again, I ask, what's the point?

And speaking of Jose Baez, not one person I know can stand him or cares about anything he has to say (and the one time he was on AD, he was flat-out wrong). He didn't "win" the Casey Anthony case; the only reason she was acquitted was because the jury didn't believe a homicide had occurred. He's a buffoon, and we don't want to hear from him ever again. Everyone I know turns off any show that he's on. Please, make him go away!

And I also heard Beth Karas has been let go. Say it ain't so! This woman is the only person on your entire network who truly deserves her own show. She's fair and unbiased, ALWAYS has her facts straight, always has the latest information, and does true and accurate reporting. She deserves a raise and her own show, not to be let go! I'd much rather watch her than Jane Valez-Mitchell or Nancy Grace. JVM's show is everyone yelling and talking over each other. Nancy Grace is rude to most of her guests, rarely checks the accuracy of her data because she's often wrong, and is often 2-3 days behind in terms of current information. Ditch JVM and NG and give me Beth Karas any day! And I know my online communities of true crime followers all feel the same way about all three.

I feel you are making all the wrong decisions, thinking you know what we want to watch, but you've got it all wrong. And I know many people who will never watch HLN again after this trial is over for the same reasons stated above.

Thank you for the opportunity to give you my honest feedback. I used to love your channel, but it's gone seriously downhill over the past year, and I thought you should know what your viewers really think (not that it appears to matter).
